Jen Shah, a Salt Lake City native of Tongan and Hawaiian descent is now a Bravo reality TV star on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Jen grew up Mormon but converted to Islam after learning about the historical mistreatment of black people in her previous religion.
She owns three companies: JAX Fashion, Shah Beauty, and The Real Shah Lashes. She is reportedly worth about $3 million and counting.
Jen is married to the University of Utah football coach Sharrieff Shah, who is also a co-special teams coordinator. The couple have two sons together, Omar, 17 and Sharrieff Jr., 26.
Shah was slammed as “ignorant” by viewers for telling her teen son that he can get “AIDS” from kissing during the series premiere.
During a breakfast get-together with her husband and two sons, the housewife could not believe that her youngest son had a girlfriend.
Shah also criticized co-star Mary Crosby, 47, for marrying her step-grandfather when her grandma died.
In a confessional, Shah stated: “I don’t give a shit if it’s your step grandpa or your real one, s**t is weird!”
