Unrealistic characters? Your thoughts?

Disney fans have launched into a spirited debate over ‘realistic proportions’ of cartoon characters after one fan pointed out the shapes of fictional characters in short Inner Workings.

In Disney’s “Inner Workings”, some characters, namely “Kate”, are drawn to have a huge backside and a tiny waist, a depiction many people found unrealistic.

The animated short aired right before Moana and is a six-minute animated story that follows Paul’s main character as he’s being pulled in different directions by his internal organs.

One person fumed: ‘I know it’s just a cartoon but for the love of God .. they need to put some belly on that girl. It makes me sad thinking kids out here thinking that’s how their body should look .. It’s naturally impossible to have a booty like that with no belly at all!!!’
